Past, Present, and Future Reflection
In last week’s message we reviewed how we can use mindfulness to begin to notice the thoughts that hold us back. The continued practice of our week one exercises will continue to be the foundation on our success journey. In week two we are going to talk about two other things that hold us back. These are the past and future. There is only one time when we can do anything, and that is in the present moment. Now that we are gaining the awareness of the thoughts that hold us back, notice how many of those thoughts are associated with the past or future. They say that depression is caused by thoughts of the past, and anxiety is created by worry about the future. When you combine that with the reality that the present moment is the only moment in which we can do anything, you are tapping into a powerful idea. This idea will help propel you forward in your journey towards success.
